My best friend's day

                                    
My best friend's name is Dimitra. She is eight years old and she is tall and pretty. She is from Greece and she lives in Keratsini. 

In the morning she always gets up at 7o'clock. She always washes her face and brushes her long hair. Then, she puts on her clothes. She usually wears dresses. For breakfast she eats pancakes with jam and she drinks milk. She never drinks coffee. At 8 o'clock she goes to school with her brother and her dad. At 3 o'clock they come back home. For lunch they eat rice and sometimes spaghetti. After lunch she goes to bed and she takes a nap. At 6 o'clock she does her homework and at 7 o'clock  she goes to her art lesson.

At night she goes to her room and she puts on her nightgown and her slippers. She says goodnight and she goes to bed.

Horses

Hi! My name is Afrodite and my  favourite animal is the horse. Horses live in farms because they need grass.

A horse's body is big and its mouth is big, too. Horses haven't got a moustache but they have eyelids. They are brown, white or black. They have got long tails and a long face but they haven't got a nose.

Horses eat grass, apples or hay and they drink milk or water. They sleep under trees. They can run fast and jump but they cannot fly, swim or skip. Their babies are born in the summer.

Horses are my favourite animals because they are so beautiful!!!

A postcard to a friend

Dear Georgia and Despoina,

I am on holidays on Corfu island. It is a big island.It has pretty beaches with golden sand. You can find lots of shells and pebbles and you can see  dolphins, crabs, fish and boats. The people are very kind, hospitable and pretty and their houses are very big with gardens and pools.

Now I am in the hotel and I am writing this postcard but my mum and my dad are swimming in the pool. What are you doing now?

How I spend my day

I'm George. I'm ten years old and I'm from Greece. I usually get up at 7:30 every day. My sister and I usually go to school on foot but we sometimes go  to school by car. We always come back with our dad. We often have lunch at 2:30.

After lunch, I go to my room and I do my homework.          
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I go to my
English school. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I
do Taekwondo at six o'clock.


I always have dinner with my family at 9 o'clock. After dinner, I go to bed at once.

Reindeer

Hello! My name is Stamatis. My favourite animals are reindeer and they live in the jungle.

Their body is very big. They have got four long legs, horns and a small tail. They are  red and brown. They can run very fast and swim but they can't fly. Their babies are very small reindeer and they are born on the ground. They can eat grass and they can drink water. They sleep on the grass. I like them because they run very fast.

My favourite animal is the Arctic fox. It lives in polar regions and it has got a short body with four legs.
The Arctic fox can run fast and it can chase animals. It eats mice and it drinks milk and water. I love it!
